Taqueria Chaparrito

When it first opened, it was an awesome and cheap place to get delicious hole-in-the-wall Mexican food. Their prices have grown with their popularity, but their menu has not. Awesome food, but would love to see some variation.

Great food! Not expensive. Waiter personally catered to my daughter's allergies. Will be going back soon!

Meh. Food was just okay. Tamales were a bit dry. Not bad, not great either though.

Authentic Mexican food. It is a family run business. The owners came to Pullman when their daughter was going to WSU. Try their la Lengua (beef tongue). The variety of salsas are great. Yes, prices have risen because of economy (don't forget Washington just raised its minimum wage), but they have not sacrificed their quality or their portions.

Food is made to order and THE BEST! It's a hole-in-wall locale, it's from scratch, and the horchata is THE BOMB! The homemade salsa are the delicious, too. Sometimes there is a wait for the food, but the quality is worth it! If you want authentic Mexican food in the Palouse, then this is the only place to get it!

Food was pretty good, but a couple things that could be improved to give customers a better experience. Price was pretty normal for what you would expect at a Mexican restaurant, but the lack of free chips and salsa was surprising. It was $3 for a side of chips with the salsa free at the salsa bar. Seems like a very minimal cost thing to skip on. Second was when the gal brought me my food, she sets the plate down and tells me about the salsa bar and that the forks are there as well. Such a small detail, but the gal had to walk past the forks to bring the food to me which clearly I can’t eat without it. Obviously it’s not a large task to get your own silverware, but just seems like two small things that provide a service feel that they are skipping.

The food is tasty and well priced. They also have a salsa bar with 10 salsas to try. The service can be slow, but that is because the owner both waits tables and cooks! I like their burritos and tamarind water. The whole restaurant has a relaxed, unpretentious vibe that I really like.

Hands-down the best Mexican food in the Moscow-Pullman area. Authentic, delicious & reasonably priced. Don't be put off by the hole-in-the-wall vibe - inside is nice with great service and a full salsa bar. They even serve horchata in pint glasses. This is where the locals go, and a nice spot for out-of-town visitors. It's becoming more popular but usually you can get a table right away. My favorite restaurant in town.

The food is excellent! Definitely a different experience from the typically Americanized Mexican restaurants! Also, the burrito is huge. You may want to bring a friend! :D

You get a LOT of great food for a good price. Great small sit down place.

Really good place to eat

If I want something really tasty I get the gordita, it's got thick corn tortillas, lettuce, meat, tomatoes, sour cream etc. it makes my mouth water. If I need 3 times as much food as I can eat I get a burrito or chapparitos burrito (burrito with potato). Their salsa selection is greeeat and so are their people.

Great service and food! It's very authentic and I'd highly recommend. To those that say it tastes bland we are used to over seasoning here and this is authentic so appreciate it! I thought it was delicious regardless. Would definitely go again.

Best mexican food in Pullman. Everything is fresh made with good portions. The wait can be long sometimes because it is just the one guy making it, but it is always worth it. The quality of the food is superb all the times that I have been there.

My wife and I visited this establishment last night, and we really enjoyed it! The food was very authentic tasting, and for a very low price. My wife and I paid just over $30 for our entire meal. It's a small family owned business as well, so wait times may be a little longer than other restaurants because the food is made to order. I recommend this place to anyone looking for bang for their buck!

I really enjoy coming here. I have only been a few times being here in Pullman and each time I had a great experience and service. I don't mind the atmosphere of the restaurant, a bit small. Other than that the food is amazing and genuine. I feel like You will get your money worth out it.

I ordered the Chaperito, wife ordered the carne asada nachos everything was amazing. The burrito was no joke, delicious and could easily feed two grown men, or in my case one really hungry one. Wife loves nachos but said the chips were so good they must make and fry them just before each o,rder because they were so perfect. This is definitely the best sit down Mexican restaurant in Whitman county. Seriously the best in the county we have tried them all....

Got take out during quarantine. Super tasty nachos. Housemade tortilla chips. Carna asada was flavorful. Housemade guacamole, with nice chunks of avacado. Highly recommend to fix the Mexican food cravings!!

The best and most authentic tacos in Pullman! The veggie tacos are particularly excellent. Excellent horchata! Its always worth asking if they have agua fresca. Beer is available.

Family run business with fantastic food at really low prices. The price to amount of good food ratio is great. Not only is this good Mexican, but the prices for plates range from $5-10. That's it! Taqueria is definitely worth your time if you're looking for the best Mexican in the area at really good prices. The only negative is that food can take a bit because this is a small, family business and oftwn only 1 or 2 people are working. But trust me, the food is worth the wait!

Huge burrito on special for $8 so a reasonable rice. But the vegetarian burrito was mostly rice with some beans, and there wasn’t much flavor to it. The salsa bar was nice though.

The food is amazing, the portions are substantial, and the prices are a bargain. The $6 sopes are my favorite. This restaurant is a hidden gem.
